Against the Tide, Byron Bay
Our first port of call after closing the gallery at the start of winter is Byron Bay, Australia. Our kids have settled here in this rather delightful location which is often described as a larger version of Golden Bay. We love the cafes, farmer's market, cycle trails and most of all the coastline. Byron Bay is the most eastern point of Australia and is surrounded by beautiful beaches and rocky headlands. Peter painted 'Morning Tide' from just below the lighthouse.
