 
  The coastline of Golden Bay and Abel Tasman National Park is truly spectacular from the air. I was inspired to paint this coastal landscape after I flew in my brother-in-law’s helicopter from Takaka to Marahau. The scene I have captured is looking northeast from the Tata Islands, beyond the coastal cliffs of Abel Tasman Point to Wainui Bay and Taupo Point, the gateway of Abel Tasman National Park.
