Piwakawaka -the Fantail
Anyone familiar with the New Zealand environment will love this little guy.The Piwakawaka or fantail is a cheeky wee bird commonly seen twisting and turning in the air as it catches insects in flight. This little bird followed us on one of our bush-walks and was just asking to be painted.
