The coastline of Golden Bay and Abel Tasman National Park is truly spectacular from the air. I was inspired to paint this coastal landscape after I flew in my brother-in-law’s helicopter from Takaka to Marahau. The scene I have captured is looking south towards the Abel Tasman coastline, where the Abel Tasman Track winds it way around the bays. This reef is just north of Mosquito Bay near Bark Bay.
