Golden sand and crystal clear water are very characteristic of Golden Bay’s Abel Tasman National Park. Totaranui Beach at the northern end of the park, is no exception. This painting captures the early afternoon light filtering through the trees, lighting up granite rocks and reflecting off the incoming tide. In the distance is ‘Photographer’s Rock’ where early pioneering families posed while having their photos taken.
