Abel Tasman Point is the rocky headland that separates Tata Beach from Wainui Bay. We often kayak there early in the morning when the water is like glass, before the sea breeze ripples its surface. I painted ‘Sunlit Cliffs’ after one of these early morning kayak excursions.
