We recently travelled through the South Island stopping in some of NZ's most scenic locations; Mt Cook, Ahuriri Valley, Mavora Lakes, Wanaka & Queenstown. Although we love NZ's mountainous environment we always miss the sea. One of the pleasures of living near the beach is experiencing the changing moods of the coastal landscape.... the storms, the wild nor-west winds, and the sunsets and sunrises. Anyone who lives near the sea or loves to walk the beach in the early morning, will appreciate this simple yet appealing painting......'Sunrise'
