Our last campervan journey from Christchurch to Aoraki, Mt Cook resulted in another painting which captures the immense beauty of the South Island tussocklands. Peter painted 'Winter Landscape near Burkes Pass' from the road between Tekapo and Burkes Pass, the gateway to the Mackenzie Country.
